According to Leak: “Demon Slayer” should end in two weeks

Just a few days ago we reported that the manga »Demon Slayer« (Japanese: »Kimetsu no Yaiba«) by Koyoharu Gotouge should end in May according to the Spanish licensee Norma Editorial. Now the concrete date is known due to a supposed leak on the Chinese platform Weibo.

Info so far unconfirmed

The user of the social media platform uploaded an image that, according to him, comes from the latest “Weekly Shonen Jump”, which will only be published in Japan on Monday. It reads that the next chapter, which will appear on May 18 in issue 24/2020, will conclude the series. This is said to comprise a total of 24 pages, some of which are in color.

Even though the signs of an early end to »Demon Slayer« are increasing, it has so far only been confirmed that the manga with the chapter, which will be released on May 11, has reached its climax. The specific date for the end has not yet been confirmed.

Kamado Tanjirou is the oldest son in a family without a father. One day, when he goes to town selling charcoal, he spends the night there instead of going home in the evening based on rumors of an oni who is said to be floating around the area. When he comes home the next day, he realizes that there was apparently an Oni who had cruelly murdered almost his entire family and only barely survived his sister Nezuko. Will he be able to take revenge and save his sister?
